Presently supported by 30 corporate members (membership 300,000 yen/year) including SII, Tokio Marine Life, Toshiba, and Itochu, and numerous cooperating companies and organizations that donate "unmailed postcards," conference rooms, and equipment.

# Background
The Japanese member of CARE International, a body of 10 autonomous member organizations based in the US, Canada, and Australia using over 50 years of skills and experience to help those living in poor and disaster-stricken areas take charge of their own lives. (The international organization as a whole implements more than 400 projects in 60 developing countries involving over 665 million dollars in funds.)

Despite having art class as part of their curriculum, many Cambodian elementary and middle schools presently lack the art supplies and trained teachers to conduct such classes.
Rainbow Project activities include holding art workshops to coach Cambodian teachers in teaching methods and conducting painting classes for children. |
