PEACEBALL Project was launched in 1999 by a NGO called "Peaceboat." They hand-deliver soccer balls collected in Japan to schools and institutions worldwide as they communicate with local children. By December 2001, in a three-year period, they have visited 29 countries/ over 100 locations and delivered balls to children.
