| 2002 Tokyo ADC Award 2003 New York ADC Award Silver Medal in graphic design 2003 I.D.Annual Design Review Award in Graphic Category ||||| Project details ||||| "One Hundred Years of Idiocy" is a collection of 100 documentary photographs from the 20th century, each a symbol of the idiocy humankind has exerted on the Earth, and each a confirmation of reality. The book also carries messages for the future contributed by world eminent writers and scholars. With Tetsuya Ozaki, editor of the Web magazine "Real Tokyo," as editorial director and Naoki Sato of Asyl Design, who won the New York ADC award for "Wired" as art director, the book proved to be a unique and high quality work. Essays contributer: Claude Levis Strauss, ethnologist Chong Yee, writer Freeman Dyson, astrophysicist Natsuki Ikezawa, novelist Abbas Kiarostami, film director Returns to Society Part of the proceeds from sale of the above publication will be placed in the Think the Earth Project Fund to be used for spreading information and for supporting NGOs and NPOs. |
