Afghanistan Humanitarian Crisis

Twenty years of severe civil war and long-term deterioration, as a result of drought occurred three years ago, caused serious food crisis in Afghanistan and left the country's social fundamentals very fragile.
UNICEF supports "Back to School campaign" and World Food Programme aims to provide "Hunger Period supplies" which precedes July's harvest. Other NGOs continue supports to help people put their lives back in order and provide educational opportunities.
