Sports cars, too, are heading towards zero emission

The Geneva Motor Show is being held from March 6th - 16thDThe world's first submersible car, "sQuba", is drawing much attention, but there is an eco-car that is too-good-to-miss for car enthusiasts. It is a sports car called "Life Car", which runs on hydrogen-fuel cell batteries. This is a concept car created by Morgan, a British car manufacturer well known for its careful and meticulous work. Morgan has combined its traditional wood frames with aluminum creating a significantly lighter body and realizing cost-savings and excellent energy-efficiency. Its cruising distance is approximately 250 miles (400km). Although Mazda also introduced a sport car that runs on hydrogen, it has a duel-fuel system allowing it to run on gasoline as well. The commitment to using a fuel-cell battery is another unique feature of the Life Car. A representative at Morgan has said, "The Life Car's purpose is to demonstrate that a zero emission vehicle can also be fun to drive." Oxford University and defense company, Qinetiq, among others have taken part in its development, which took 3 years to complete. So you could say that this car is packed full of British advanced technology. Although it is still on a concept level, if it is well received at the motor show, its commercialization will be taken into consideration. In the near future, beautiful eco-cars may be seen driving down the streets.
